Any help appreciated, I'm a grad student just learning stata!
The problem is taken from a prospective cohort study where the particpants have been followed for different lengths of time.
It involves 3 variables;
# of broken bones (broken)
osteoporosis (osteo -either yes or no), and
calcium supplimentation [cal] (either: none, high dietary, or high supplement)
In which the association between # of broken bone and osteoporois may differ among the three catogories of calcium supplimentation.
I'm lost in that I can't run a normal cohort study analysis (cs) because the particpants were followed for different lengths of time...I know I need to stratify but am not sure how with the three variables.
