how to work with panel data

hello,

it is the first time that I need to make some research, and of course the first time that I work with stata.
I have panel data and need to make a regression, but to be honest, I don't know where to start.

Has anyone a good paper which helps me step by step (what kind of regression to take, what tests do I need to make,..)
