Hello Statalists,
I am using Stata12 and trying to find out whether men reach a higher return compared to women.
I am using a logarithmical independant variable. Return is given in percent, such as 0.02, if return amounts to 2%.
reg return log_var ...
The regression coefficient for this variable is -0.0089.
Does this mean that an increase of log_var by 1% leads to an increase of return by 0.89 base points?
Thanks a lot!
