Assigning Maximum Value

I have looked into forum but could not find any information on this. Thanks for your help in advance.

I work with household survey, and want to define a primary earner among partners (i.e. the person with higher weekly income).

So what I want to do is the following but I don't know how to assign a maximum value :

bysort hh partnered: egen primary_earner =1 if ??? weeklyincome
