In my data set I have the variable “board”, which counts the size of boards of directors, with prices 4-34.
I want to create the variable “board_sizeC” which will have the prices:
S if “board” = 4-7
R if “board” = 8-10
L if “board” = 11-34 How can I do it?
I use StataMP 13.1 in Windows 10.
