When you have an unbalanced panel including households who are observed only once, how does Stata incorporate these observations into the estimation of a fixed effects model? You cannot have a fixed effect for units who are not observed more than once. However, it does not appear that Stata simply drops these households from the analysis. How does the presence of these households affect estimation results?
